Valentine's Day

Ruben tried his best to give me a really nice Valentine's this year.

Last year he brought me the most beautiful dozen roses I had ever seen, they were a sorta orange color and I loved them.

This year he got me jewely and shoes. Shoes were at my request.. nice new Nike Air's :-) He said flowers were to come later. They had to play music up in TN last night so I got my presents friday night. He got his from me on Thursday night. I bought him a new ring to wear and he's had it on ever since I gave it to him :-) He's such a great guy.

Anyway, oldest guy had friend over last night and he left a little while ago. Going to finish dinner now..

Let's go back to Thursday

Since I got my new job, I have to dress a little nicer than I normally dress. I feel most comfortable in my jeans, a nice shirt and nice shoes (especially tennis shoes!) I now wear nice pants or dresses to work and so I wear panty hose every day because of these shoes that I wear.. can't get the things on without hose! LOL

Anyway.. thursday was like any other day, I get dressed and noticed that the hose I was putting on were a little big in the waist but I thought.. oh.. what the heck, I'll have pants on.. so it's not big deal right?

WRONG!

These things are ok for a little while, but after a few hours they just started falling down. I'm tugging and pulling on these things all day and so when I get home, I cut them in the middle so that I will still have the hose for my shoes, but they'll be more like the sock kind.. know what I'm talking about here?

I had to go to the store to get Ruben something for Valentine's day and didn't want to change my shoes. I thought I had cut them off far enough down, but after getting to the store.. I realized I could have cut one of them down a little bit more.. because.....

I'm standing there at the counter about to walk off and pick up a few more things before I come back and get what I picked out at the counter and the right hose falls down my leg and it still has some of the crotch part attached to it and as I hurriedly bend down to tuck it back up in my pants leg.. these 2 ladies just happened to walk by me and notice it at the very same time I did!!

OMG.. I've never been so embarrassed in my entire life. These ladies were laughing so hard they could hardly keep walking.

And here's the morale of this story.. if you got pany hose problems.. cut them off to the shoes!!!! :-)

Wednesday

Back to work today after having yesterday off because the older one was sick. He was actually suppose to stay home today too according to his doctor's note, but he was feeling better and I had to get back to work.

Nothing new or too exciting going on here except for I got a great to renew my cell phone :-)

Will post more later. There's just not enough hours in the day to keep up with everything!

And then, there were 5

Sadly, last night.. one of the babies died. Don't know what happened. I think maybe 6 kittens were too many for her to take care of.. or maybe it just wasn't strong enough to fight it's way over to eat, I don't know, but anyway.. we now have 5.

Here is Smokey, the daddy. He finally came back and he was hiding in the closet. I had to get him to come out to take his picture LOL.. so it's dark and I had to lighten it up..

Here is Simon the fat old cat.. really he's 17 years old, I put him on the counter so I could take his picture and he didn't like it so I got him as he was jumping down LOL

oh.. and no work for me today because.. son is home sick, went to doctor, now have 3 prescriptions!
