IN DEPTH Taurus is the second of the signs of spring and relates to the fruitful earth. The time of Taurus is preserved in rhyme by the April showers that bring May flowers (approximately April 21 to May 20). The symbol of Taurus is the bull. But this is no charging Bull, except for the credit cards. The Taurean bovine is a relaxed one. The image of Ferdinand, sitting in a field and smelling wild flowers, fits well. Taurus is a sign that seeks comfort and pleasure above all. The effort of charging about would be too much!
Positive Taurean qualities include steadfastness, loyalty, reliability, physical stamina, sensuality, an appreciation of beauty (especially in tangible form), an affectionate nature, and a knack for dealing with the physical world.
